Not always what we want can be achieved. It depends very much on variables that can facilitate or condition the facts of life.
One thing is certain, no matter what fate holds us, it is an incredible journey.
The truth is that the universe has ways of balancing itself and what it takes also gives.
This is my new sound. A danceable commercial sound. I hope you enjoy it.

THE LOGICAL THING TO DO!
The logical thing to do is the most unexpected and irrelevant one. When you think that you are in command the universe tends to balance himself.
Why struggle to challenge this when you know that there is no alternative to what will unfold?
Or is there?
I, for what is worth, will keep challenging the future. Why? Simply because I can… Maybe there is no point but this way life is a lot more fun, and who doesn’t like fun.
The Moon Lover is a simple music, not much happening here but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like this track. By the contrary I really love it and I believe its stronger point is its simplicity.
We can define this track has deep house, trending to a more commercial vocal vibe and club dancing style.
A strong simple beat complemented by a melodic bass sets the tone to this music. The monotony of the track is interrupted by an off tune synth and some vocal samples.
In order to give more substance I decided to include some piano riffs, this addition allowed for richer and full sound that perfectly complemented the track vibe. Some twist at the end and there it is, The Moon Lover, a simple beautiful track.
Hope you enjoy,

A QUESTION OF TIME!
There are times when life gives you a chance to change. Better put, life forces you to change.
It’s normal that people accommodate to the simple facts of life, don’t take risks and fall into the web of monotony. And you can keep going for ever in this never ending loop of inactivity.
The time has come and now I have the chance for changing, the chance of doing things differently.
Although I lack the courage life has taken care that I don’t have a choice and with that have the responsibility to act and face all the challenges that the upcoming future has in store for me.
Deep inside I knew that I needed to change, I knew that it was A QUESTION OF TIME.
This track is an example of change. Absolute Love takes all my years of music production and condenses into a music that reflects all the feelings and vibes that drive my motivation to create something new.
From nothing to something the difference is the will, and this will to create something new from nothing is what makes this track special.

Submotion, CLassic House Music
Submotion is my latest production. This track follows on the same trend as my last music creation, Ensemble.
Submotion has a more chill out house vibe with an Ibiza beach midday groove. The music structure is simple but nonetheless original. This is a shout out to my music roots, being that a more melodic, jazzy, classic house mix.

Ensemble & needin' U
![]() |
| I've took inspiration on some old 90's pearls |
This time I have a small production that I’ve created during some away time from home called Ensemble. For this track I’ve took inspiration on some old house music like the 1998 David Morales hit needin’ U, this retro vibe mixed with some new and modern groves created an interesting mash of sounds.
For my surprise this track ended being a very pop and danceable one with a very characteristic piano riff that carries the entire music and definitely gives it personality.
In terms of structure we can say that is a very traditional one. The music is divided in three parts blended in a progressive build has new samples are added to the track.
In the end I’m very happy with the end result. This track definitely represents a moment in life and for that will always be one of my favourites.

Beauty is only Skin Deep
Skin Deep is my new track. This electronic house music was made without any kind of prejudice or self-assertion. Instead I just wanted to create something that differentiated from my latest productions.
The result was a music that although simple in its form still manages to stand out has one that can make my feelings arouse.
The track is divided in three parts, it start with a simple melodic bass that can be found throughout the entire track. In the second part the music develops in a progressive structure to a more classic house deep vibe with repetitive garage type sounds, when it reaches the third and final part both styles are combine into one culminating in a mixture that defines the groove of Skin Deep.
There is a kind of confident and forceful expression buried deep in this track that expresses my deepest feelings, views on the world of music, see if you can find them…

Beat of Love (I don’t understand)
Beat of Love (I don’t understand) is my new production. This music follows the trend of my last creations, it’s a club house sound that although borrowing some inspiration from the late 90’s techno still maintains some originality and personality.
This production also relies on some experimentation and repetition of off key sounds, that gives an interesting twist to the track also adding a unique vibe.
There is also an attempt to create a more danceable and commercial sound, maintaining always my Halfgame vibe, with its rolling bass and deep beat that carries the slightly over six minutes track keeping it clean, fresh and groovy at the same time.

Setting the beat
Today I will seat the beat, or at least I’ll try.
They say that we know our inner self by experimenting. It’s common for people to say that they don’t like something without even trying once, being that food, movies, art or music.
In life I always try to keep an open mind, and with that philosophy I normally don’t take things for granted.
Today I will open my heart and express my feelings in the best way I possibly can. I’ll try to be even more open minded, more just, fair and in general good.
Said that I’ll leave you with another music creation. Set Beat its a simple funky club house music that I really enjoyed creating.
Although simple in its construction Set Beat took me a considerable amount of time to finish. Again when things get complicated I resort to one of my most important rules, KEEP IT SIMPLE. And guess what, it worked...

I'm Alive...
I’m Alive…
It’s been long since my last upload and that’s because I was dead. But now that I’m alive I manage to create and share with you my latest production.
SmothAfro is a somewhat tribal house music that I’ve allowed myself to produce. There’s a lot of experimentation in this track that consequently gives it a unique vibe very different of any other production I’ve done in the past.
The animal sound taken from the hot lands of Africa mixed with the classic groove of house music, this is SmothAfro.

The right sample
And here we have a small production that slightly moves away of the path followed by latest music’s.
"the_right_sample" is a softer track that borrows inspiration from styles like Chillout and Jazz avoiding the more depressing sounds of deep house. The music is simple and short but nonetheless manages to create a sense of lightness that is often missing from my productions. I blame the feelings that are normally associated with summer.
I can almost imagine myself in a beach bar listening to this tune while drinking a cold beer and watching the sea.

A story that penetrates our soul
“voice_of_the_beast” it’s pure deep house music, an amazing genre that lately I’ve been viciously addicted. – Creatively speaking, of course.
There is something dark and cinematic in deep house that really touches me. It’s not an easy sound to describe because of the emotions that are subliminally attached to each creation.
This type of music has a very strong emotional effect. The relaxing vibe fills our minds with thoughts and dreams and the mystery that emanates each sound tells a story that penetrates our soul.
“voice_of_the_beast” uses a progressive technique that introduces each sound in a very harmonic way creating a wave that that grows into a force of feelings that open as the track progresses.
One of the most interesting pieces is the inclusion of a dark evangelic speech sample in one of the music breaks. This is homage to the 90’s underground music. Who doesn’t remember the amazing track “So Get Up” the 1993 track by the Portuguese house music production duo Underground Sound of Lisbon with words spoken by Ithaka, about "End of The World".
if you never heard this song, let me tell you that you are missing a very important piece of house music history.

Moving Souls
"Moving Soul" is a deep cinematic house music that has a similar vibe to my previous production "act_good", although using a less conventional beat and a slower tempo.
In this track I’ve decide to experiment with some new techniques in order to create a more original music.
The minimal unconventional beat uses some voice elements has percussion tools, this gives some originality and also helps in create its unique personality.

The rest of the samples like basslines, synth and effects were pasted with the intention of creating a wave of mix sounds that gradually grow and carry the music to the next level.
The intention was to create a deep, moody, cinematic track that could touch the listener at some different levels. I believe that this goal was achieved and "Moving Soul" is a deep original House music.

Repetition and admeasurement
“act_good”, is a deep, moody and cinematic house music that came to my mind as an act of rebellion in an attempt to free myself from the prejudices of house music.
This is a story of a man that every day walks in to the subway hoping that it takes him to a different place this time.
He is tired of walking in no direction, with the purpose of nothing, and the goal of continuing in repetition and admeasurement.

He is tired of walking in no direction, with the purpose of nothing, and the goal of continuing in repetition and admeasurement.
He reaches the end of the track and finds Himself lost in the standardization of life, performing the same moves over and over in a autism pattern that He cannot escape.

First Steps
First Steps is my latest production. For this music I used some very unique samples which helped create a nice retro vibe.
This is probably my first music that doesn’t use a Bass loop on its main structure, instead and in order to create the same effect I use a very subtle Rhode loop which can be heard to almost the entire track.
There’s also a very persistent Jazzy chill out vibe that is given by some flute sounds and loops, this was included to give a more summerish on the beach type of thing, giving this track a somewhat commercial Ibiza vibe.
In order to break the track monotony, I’ve used a small trick. During the song and on three separate occasions a specific sample is raised two octaves up. The twist, although short, really helps give this track a very unique and sophisticated groove.
First Steps is a good track, one of those that by some strange consequences are created in a very fast and harmonic way and without almost any effort. I’m really happy with the end result especially because First Steps was my first music which arrived after a long period of time without being able to create a track that artistically I could be proud of.

The day a man lost his balance
A man sits in a chair that lies in a room with four walls white as light. Nothing more exists, no doors, no windows and no sound, just four walls white as light.
Has he sits in the middle of this muted room an urge consumes him to stand up, and as he tries to do so he loses his balance and falls on the ground.
Now He lies on the ground unable to move. He unsuccessfully tries to stand on his feet but stubbornly loses his balance and keeps falling over and over.
Completely exhausted and lying on the ground he looks up and notices a small black dot perfectly placed in the middle of the ceiling.
The man looks around and notices the chair is gone and now nothing more exists, no doors, no windows, no chairs and no sound, just four walls white as light and a small black dot in the ceiling.
The man looks around and notices the chair is gone and now nothing more exists, no doors, no windows, no chairs and no sound, just four walls white as light and a small black dot in the ceiling.
He stretches his arm up toward the ceiling and tries to reach that strange dark anomaly. This movement feels natural to him, familiar, and despite the abysmal distance the fact is that he manages to touch the dot.
Darkness absorbs him and he falls asleep.
A man sits in a chair that lies in a room with four walls black as night. Nothing more exists, no doors, no windows, and no sound just four walls black as night.

New Year’s Resolution
If you’re anything like me, you must have indicted yourself with a New Year’s Resolution, mine apart from world peace and the end of world hunger was to produce more quality electronic music.
It might’ve been to hit a certain mood or vibe, create an original melody or develop a number of ideas in a day, etc. Whatever it was, I was getting to a bad start.
To break this tendency I committed myself in creating the most honest and pure music I could imagine.
For that I decided to think back to some of the most important lessons I’ve learned about music production, whether that was by listening to some of the most influential musicians or sitting alone staring at the computer screen as I tried to past the riffs in the most harmonic way I could.

Here are some methods and practices put to used from what I’ve learned from my past experiences, “Declaration”, a progressive house music that has a curious funky versus chill vibe.

The Past the Future and Now
There is only past and future, present is an illusion that life created in order to give us hope so our actions although meaningless are necessary to be.
And here we are, the year is 2014, and as you read this words it’s a fact that they are already craved in the walls of the past and as hard you try there is no chance that they will ever be in your present.
And what about the future? We can only imagine, dream, and hope that our wishes and desires materialize in memories of the past, because…
… because there is no present.

Effective Groove
Trying to effectively create a music that touches that hidden side of sensibility can be a tricky achievement.
Sometimes is a mix of hard work and focus, other times simply luck. Effective Groove is something in between, although there’s some technical aspect and attention to its creation, the fact is that the sounds that compose this track and its natural harmonics are sheer luck.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all a very enjoyable Christmas, being this probably my last entry before the 25th of December.

Effective Groove starts with an angelic pad that is interrupted by the New York club type beat. The melodie that follows was created using a simple flute sound that although very simple really gives this track some sophisticated groove and helps set the tone for the rest of the track.
Again a very simple music created with a jazz vibe feel that turnout to be better than I expected.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all a very enjoyable Christmas, being this probably my last entry before the 25th of December.

Emergency... or not!
Is not every day that we doubt of our own capabilities for solving problems, be more positive, comprehensive and in general a better person…
… In a matter of fact now that I think about it every day I question myself, if I really am that person that I believe to be. Confusing, that’s because it is.
Technically Emergency is not a very impressive production but in my opinion that is its biggest strength.
The simplicity of the beat and the harmonic synthesizer sounds that are included in this track are deliberately repetitive.
I was committed to create a deeper house vibe with a soft touch of sophistication and then break that monotony with a fresher sound.

Retro feels so good
“Feel so Good” is a strange track, on one side there’s a very modern and up to date vibe while in the other end is a pushing force that brings it to a more nostalgic retro groove.
To be honest this result was not intended. I definitely don’t have the talent to make such a conscious production. But the fact is that this accomplishment really made me proud.
This music really brings some memories and the more I listen to “Feel so Good” the more, the buried memories from the past, struggle to make their way out of the cemetery grave.
There was a time when house music was simple, unpretentious and liberating; those were the main reasons why I felt so attracted tor this type of music and why I decided to create my own original work.
“Feel so Good” starts with a clubish, funky grove with a strong bass, simple beat and soft melody. That funky vibe is complemented by an acapella voice that definitely creates that retro feeling and also helps break the track monotony.

In the end “Feel so Good” existence is nothing more than amateur luck. The end result definitely wasn’t intended to be like this, but the fact, is that this track turnout to be a very danceable, original and a enjoyable retro track.
